Configure email accounts for my Cloud server: Microsoft Mail

⚠️ These settings for email accounts are only valid for Cloud servers with Linux Debian 10 or higher operating system versions. ⚠️

Set up your email account in Microsoft Mail

We are going to configure our email account in the Microsoft integrated mail manager.

This is displayed with the following icon:

The data that we must take into account for the configuration of the email account are the following:

  • Incoming mail server
  • Outgoing mail server
  • Account name
  • Password
  • SMTP port: 587
  • IMAP port: 143
  • POP3 port: 110
  • Protocol: Start TLS

First mail configuration in the manager

We open the mail manager. If it is the first time that we configure an account in the manager, a screen like the one below will appear. We select "another account":

enter image description here

It will ask us to enter the email address, the account name and the password. Click on "Login":

We remember that from SWPanel you will not be able to see the information about the email account password, because in compliance with ISO 27001, the LOPD and the RGPD, we do not store or provide personal codes, as well as we do not have access to the Email account keys we don't even provide them.

The mail manager will look for the automatic configuration. Once finished, it will show the inbox along with the welcome message. Click on "Done" to access the tray:

Configuration of another email account in the manager

If we have already configured an email account in this manager, we must go to "configuration". An auxiliary configuration window will open. We press the button "Manage accounts".
