Service Dashboard in SW Panel

A Dashboard, in computing, is usually a control tool focused on monitoring operational variables. This means that it shows metrics that belong to a certain area or specific activities.

The indicators that are shown in a Dashboard, generally, represent operating processes. For example, the SW Panel will show the services you have contracted or the domains, among others. By relying only on indicators that show content that you have in your portfolio, it offers a quick and easy view of your services.

The periodicity is usually in short periods of time, which shows the efficiency and effectiveness of a Dashboard showing the information that is best for us to know.

The information displayed by the Dashboard will vary depending on the services you have contracted: Cloud servers, hosting...

Cloud service dashboard

To access the Dashboard of your Cloud server, you must first locate it through the service search window of your SW Panel. Once you have located the name of your Cloud server, click on its name:

You will then access the server Dashboard where you will find the following informational blocks or functionalities:

Icons for specific functions and configuration of your Cloud

In this block you will find the icons corresponding to the following functions:

Rename the service: In this section you can define an alias for a better identification of your cloud.

Create a Cron: In this section you can create different crons and define when you want to run them.

Create an FTP: In this section, you can create an FTP account at the Cloud level so you can create an account with access to all the accommodations as well as see all the FTP accounts created.

Create a new service in this service group: This is a shortcut to create a new Web Hosting, Redirected or Mail service.

Customize and adjust the resources and services of this Cloud: In this section you can modify all the resources assigned to your cloud, you can also modify the different available extras.

Create a planned scaling for this Cloud: In this section you can define the increase or reduction of resources in a scheduled time.

Service's basic parameters settings: In this section you can define the configuration of the different services installed in the cloud.

Start / Stop the Cloud: The usefulness of this icon is to start or stop the cloud depending on its status, in the stop section, you can define normal or forced.

Usage History: In this section you can see the usage history of all the resources of your Cloud.

Make Snapshot: By clicking on this icon, you will be able to create an image of the current state of your cloud.

Definition of the directories to makw back up: In this section you will be able to define the backup of your accommodation as well as the different directories that are in your Cloud.

Activate Layer 4 FW Management: In this section you can activate the Layer 4 firewall of your Cloud.

Activate New Generation Security: In this section you can activate the new generation security.

System vulnerabilities: In this section you can generate a report of the different vulnerabilities detected on your system.

Issue a certificate about this service: In this section you can generate a certificate of the location of the data as well as the ISO27001 data protection certificate.

2. Resource usage summary

In this section you will see the use of resources by percentages, such as the use of vCores, RAM and disk space.

3. Service identification

In this section you will see the service code for a better identification for the SW Hosting technician. You will also see the name of the cloud (PTR) and the defined alias.

4. Available improvements

In this section, you will be able to see the different extras activated in your cloud, by clicking on the switch on the right side, you will be able to activate or deactivate it depending on its status.

5. Service usage graph

In this section you will see a graph of the last hours of use of your cloud, as well as the average use and its maximum.

6. Allocated resources

In this section you can see the defined resources of your cloud in real time

7. Threats received

From here you can see a graph of the threats treated and not treated. This graph may vary depending on the security contracted.

8. Installed software

In this section you will see all the installed operating system and all your services.

9. Current period Usage

In this section you will see the time of use of your cloud. You will also be able to know the cost of your cloud, by clicking on "See invoice simulation". You will be able to see both the costs at the date of the consultation, as well as the monthly ones, that amount may vary depending on the resources that you assign or reduce during the period.

10. Uptime

In this section you can see the day the Cloud was created and the time it has been started since the last start.

11. Snapshots

In this section you will see the snapshots made.

12. Containers to which it belongs

In this section you will see the containers to which your cloud belongs.

13. Planned scaling events for this cloud

In this section you will be able to see all the planned scalings and create a scale with the cursor.

14. Data of the person accountable for the service

In this section you will see the name, email and telephone number of the person in charge.

Dashboard of a Hosting service

To access the Dashboard of your hosting service, you must first locate it through the service search window of your SW Panel. Once you have located the name of your hosting service, click on its name:

Next you will access the Dashboard of the hosting service, where you will find the following informational blocks or functionalities:

1. Icons of specific functions and configuration of your Hosting

In this block you will find the icons corresponding to the following functions: Create FTP account: In this section you can create an FTP account at the Hosting level. Create BD MariaDB: In this section you can create a database. Create BD User: In this section you can create a user for the database and assign read or read and write permissions. Adjust the parameters and accessories of your Hosting plan: In this section you can customize the software or services installed in the service. Restore backup of this domain: In this section you will be able to restore the backup copy of the web data, emails and databases. Change the cloud server assigned to this service or change the type of hosting plan: In this section, if you have a cloud, you can reassign the service in another cloud. If you have a hosting plan, you can upgrade to a higher plan. Enable or disable AntiSpam filtering: In this section you can enable or disable the AntiSpam service.

3. CMS management

In this section, you can install and uninstall the different content managers (CMS) available automatically, creating the necessary FTP accounts and databases. Upon installation, the access credentials will be sent to your email.

4. Available Improvements

In this section you can activate or deactivate different optional settings.

5. Stop / Start services

In this section you can activate or deactivate the different services of your hosting service.

6. Active email accounts

In this section you can see a list of active email accounts, these can be modified from the [···] menu that appears to the right of the email account. You can also create a new account by clicking the "+" icon.

7. Active FTP accounts

In this section you can see a list of active FTP accounts, these can be modified from the [···] menu that appears to the right of the email account. You can also create a new account by clicking the "+" icon.

8. Management of "logs" of the service

In this section you can manage the time you want to keep the records of your service.

9. Responsable of the service

In this section you can see and modify the name, email and telephone number of the person responsible for the service
