How to create and manage Snapshots of your website

A snapshot of a website is a snapshot of the content of your website on a specific day and time.

In SW Hosting you can create snapshots of all your websites through your SW Panel service management tool. The steps to create a snapshot are:

1. From the search box of your SW Panel, you must locate the service where the web on which you want to create a Snapshot is hosted

2. Once you are in the Dashboard of the service, you must click on the icon that appears in the upper right, to perform the snapshot:

From the Dashboard of your services, you will also be able to see the details, date and time, of your last Snapshot created

How to restore a Snapshot from SW Panel

Important: Before starting the recovery action of the indicated Snapshot, make sure that you really want to revert the state of the web with all your data from the moment in which said snapshot was taken. You must bear in mind that this process is not reversible. The Web will remain the same as it was when the Snapshot was created. So ALL your current data will be lost.

1. From the search box of your SW Panel you must locate the service on which you want to restore a Snapshot.
