A planned web export involves setting a specific date, in which all your data will be exported. This content may be imported to another hosting service, or even used as a backup.
n SW Hosting you can plan the export of your website through the Dashboard of your service in the SW Panel. The steps to export your website are as follows:
1. From the search box of your SW Panel, you must locate the service where the web on which you want to plan its export is hosted.
2. Once located in the Dashboard of the service, you must click on the checkbox "Planned export", located in the box Improvements available, located in the lower right part of your Dashboard.
Next, the menu Web Export Planner will open in the current tab of the web browser, where you can choose between three options:
Make an export every day: You must indicate in the Execution parameters the time at which the export must be carried out, the day it must start and the end date.
If you do not indicate the start date, the exports will start instantly at the same time they are scheduled. Also, if you do not indicate an end date, the exports will be made periodically without end.
Make an export every week: You must indicate the day of the week that the export will be carried out, in addition to configuring the time, start day and end day in Execution parameters.
Make an export one or more days of the year in particular: This option will provide us with a range of parameters that must be indicated, including the months that the web exports must be carried out and the days of the month. Additionally, you must configure in Execution parameters the time that the exports will be made, the start day and the end day
The export will generate a compressed file in ".tgz", format, similar to the known ".zip" o ".rar". Finally, we can choose between sending the export by email, or by FTP.
Send it by email: The web will be sent to the indicated email, in the box that will appear under the check once the green button is clicked, located in the lower right part of the SW Panel "Activate Planned Export".
Upload it to an FTP server or to an external FTP storage: This option will provide the possibility of sending the web export to the origin indicated in the boxes that will appear under the check. Additionally, you can receive a notification by email, if the corresponding checkbox is marked and an email address is indicated. The action will be carried out once the green button is clicked, located in the lower right part of the SW Panel "Activate Planned Export".
