In this manual we are going to learn how to activate the web statistics option in our Cloud, to be able to use AWStats in the Hosting services that are within it.
If you already have the option active in your Cloud and you want to start viewing web statistics, you can consult our manual on "Activating web statistics".
⚠️ This manual is configured for Cloud servers with Linux Debian 10 or higher operating system versions and SW Smart Panel. If you have a Cloud with a lower Debian version, you may not be able to activate the AWStats feature. Also, if your Cloud does not have SW Smart Panel you will´´ NOT ´´be able to use this option.⚠️
To activate the AWStats option in your Cloud, type the name of the Cloud in the upper search bar of your SW Panel:
Once inside the Cloud Dashboard, access "Customize and adjust the resources and services of this Cloud", by clicking on the corresponding icon:
At the end of all the customization options, you will see the option "Web statistics services". Activate it:
Once activated, click on "Next":
⚠️ In order to make the changes and activate the option, you must restart the Cloud.⚠️
In the next step, review the configuration, select if you want to restart the Cloud at the moment or wait for a certain time (in our case we have restarted it at the moment), accept the conditions and click on "Accept and formalize changes":
Once the Cloud is restarted, the changes will have been applied and you will be able to activate AWStats in the services you want.
