How to create a scheduled scaling of resources

What is a scheduled scaling?

A scheduled scaling is the increase or reduction of your cloud’s resources (vCores and RAM) to run automatically at a specific date and time.

In this way you will be able to supply the necessary resources in your server to assume the charge generated because of a temporary increase in visits to your website.

Procedure

To program a scheduled scaling in your cloud, you must follow the following steps:

  1. First you have to localize your cloud through the services search of your SW Panel:

  1. Once you are situated on the Dashboard of your cloud’s server, you must select the "Create a scheduled scaling for this cloud" icon

  1. In the following window besides informing you of the resources that you dispose at the moment in you server, you will be able to define the vCores and RAM that you will assign to your cloud and the period of scaling application.

  1. Once the parameters are defined you will be able to indicate a name for your scaling and you will have to accept the costs that will generate the solicited resources clicking on the "Create and activate" button

Once the programming is created, from your cloud server's Dashboard, you will be able to visualize the scheduled scaling with different types of views.
