Control Tools

What are control tools?

They allow us to view in an orderly manner the current inventory of services, registered domains and templates.

Control lists collect information that, due to its relevance, it may be necessary to periodically check, such as, for example, space and traffic usage, domain expiration dates, among others.

Likewise, we have the option to export the information, which allows us to have proof of the control carried out as well as the data shown at that moment.

To access, click on the option Control Tools (left menu) and the section to consult.

In order to simplify the list query, in each section we can sort the results by clicking on the title of the column.

Control of Services

Shows the list of Cloud servers and services that are currently registered.

Collect the following data:

  • Service Code: Unique identifier of the Cloud or service.
  • Service: Name of host.
  • Use Space: Space consumed.
  • Traffic Use: Traffic consumed.
  • Use Backup: Space dedicated to backup copies consumed. This data is aggregated at the Cloud server level only.

Export data

The data is exportable in Excel, CSV format (separated by the "|" character) and XML format. In each export, we can set a control date that will appear in the exported file, and delimit the data to be exported by service code.

To carry out the export, we access the Export tab:

  1. We indicate a control date.
  2. We select the export format.
  3. Optional. We introduce the initial and final service code to delimit the data to be exported (see column "Service Code" in the "Listing" tab).

Control of registered domains

Shows the list of registered domains.

Collect the following data:

  • Domain: Name of the registered domain.
  • Registration Date: Date on which the domain was registered.
  • Expiration Date: Date on which the domain will expire.
  • Autorenovation: If the domain has it active, the date on which it will autorenew will appear.
  • DNS assigned: Date on which the domain will expire.

Export data

The data is exportable in Excel, CSV format (separated by the "|" character) and XML format. Also, we can filter the export by date of registration, expiration or self-renewal. To carry out the export, we access the Export tab:

  1. We select the export format.
  2. We introduce the period of dates that we want to consult.
  3. We mark the selection criteria:
    • By Date of registration: The domains whose registration date falls between the dates indicated in the previous step will be exported.
    • By Expiration date: Domains whose expiration date is between the dates indicated in the previous step will be exported.
    • By **Activation Date Self-renewal **: The domains whose self-renewal date is included between the dates indicated in the previous step will be exported.

Control of templates

It allows to verify if the services are linked to a template, and to which template they are linked.

Collect the following data:

  • Service Code: Unique identifier of the Cloud or service.
  • Service: Name of host.
  • Template: If the service is linked to a template, the template name is displayed.

Export data

The data is exportable in Excel, CSV format (separated by the "|" character) and XML format. In each export, we have the option to export only the services with template, the services without template or both. In addition, we can delimit the data to be exported by service code.

To carry out the export, we access the Export tab:

  1. We select the export format.
  2. We mark the selection criteria: Services with Template, Services without Template, or both.
  3. Optional. Enter the initial and final service code to delimit the data to be exported (see column "C. Service" in the "Listing" tab).
